Bible Story Craft for Joshua and the Fall of Jericho

Bible Story Craft for Joshua and the Fall of Jericho

Materials:

For this craft you will need cardboard, or heavy construction paper, white or grey, or white or grey paint or felt pens to color the cardboard.

1. Trace the trumpet of a ram’s horn (Joshua 6:13) onto cardboard or heavy construction paper, make seven trumpets.

Tell the children how seven priests each carrying a trumpet marched before the ark of the Lord around the wall of the city of Jericho and blew their trumpets for six days.

Then tell them how, on the seventh day, after the seven priests marched around the city seven times, they blew their trumpets, the people shouted and the wall of the city fell down.

Tell them how Joshua gave God the victory by telling the people to say “Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.” (Joshua 6:16)
